ColourNext is Asian Paints’ annual colour forecast that explores the evolving moods shaping Indian interiors. It brings together architects, designers, and artists through exhibitions, digital experiences, and print media — positioning Asian Paints not just as a paint manufacturer, but as a visionary voice in design and culture.
As part of a multidisciplinary team of space, textile, and product designers, I contributed to the visual graphics for the event — including the lookbook, invites, postcards, and exhibit graphics.
The exhibit graphics were created for various zones within the space. The central café, designed by the space team as a gathering zone for workshops and conversations, became the heart of the exhibit. Inspired by Van Gogh’s expressive style, the graphics drew from elements like sunlight and blooming flowers to reflect the Colour of the Year — yellow. These visuals were later screen-printed with acid to achieve an etched effect on textile, adding depth and tactility to the experience.
The lookbook was designed to accompany the exhibit, serving as both a reference and an extension of the experience. Alongside it, I developed the identity design for each theme, as well as the invites and notebooks. For one of the themes that revolved around memory, we created special cyanotype postcards — each one a tactile reminder of how colour and emotion intertwine.

Cynatotype postcards were created for the theme Alchemy of memories.
